In the fall of 2022, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Maastricht, Netherlands. I studied business and economics at Maastricht University and visited 9 countries while in Europe. Overall, this experience one hundred percent gave me a great understanding of global perspective.

I am very lucky to have lived in Europe for four and a half months and learned many life lessons. I believe this biggest lesson I had to learn was adapting to a new environment and style of living compared to the United States. Everything from the currency, to the food, and even the laws and regulations are different.

This experience allowed me to Take a chance and be able to experience things that I will remember for the rest of my life and learned during my time in Europe. Being able to understand how different countries live gave me a unique perspective. Living in the Netherlands opened my eyes to a new style of the world and allowed me to understand a whole other culture.
